For your benefit, we offer a bad weather exclusion to the cancellation policy shown below. If the weather is either too cold or too rainy for a successful butterfly release, you may cancel up to 4 days prior to your event and receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. This warranty covers up to the value of 8 dozen butterflies. Orders larger than 8 dozen will be refunded the maximum warranty value of 8 dozen. Our guarantee: we guarantee that you will receive live and healthy butterflies for any butterfly order of any quantity and delivery location. On the rare occasion that some or all do not survive, you may take a picture of the deceased butterflies with a count and email this to us for a refund. This MUST be done within 7 DAYS of the event for a refund.
Important note: no full refunds are given for late deliveries. However, if you are unable to use the butterflies at your event due to a non-delivery, we will offer a courtesy refund of 50% of the cost of the butterflies plus shipping. We must be notified within 7 days after the event for this refund and we will verify with FedEx that no delivery was attempted prior to the event. No refunds given for recipient unavailability. When you place your order and we have reviewed the information, we will send you a confirmation with the scheduled delivery time and date (usually the day before the event) for your butterfly delivery. Upon shipping you will also receive a FedEx tracking number to monitor the status of your delivery.
